Anyone using Dreamhost?Connection ok but no file transfer

Using a new host server - can connect, but no files get transferred. Eventually a timeout error.
Host support says they see the connection and permission looks fine.
Anyone else using Dreamhost with or without issues?

Oh, If I export project from X5 to a folder I can ftp the folder content it to dreamhost with filezilla no issues.
Maybe the moderators or other users can write what needs to be taken into account when exporting with external FTP programs.
I myself use the WebSiteX5 export function because it is easier.
I searched Dreamhost and found these instructions.
A) Destination folder

B) FTP-Parameter (Host name, user name, password and port)

Perhaps you can confirm the Destination folder settings and FTP parameters from Dreamhost to rule out any errors.
For me (Hosteurope) I have a slash at the end of the website URL and a slash at the beginning of the destination folder, but none at the end.
