I updated to the new version 2025.2.9 and after installing, when I try to select a project to work on got the following message

An error occurred while loading the Project

(Acess to the path is denied )

Has anyone else encountered this problem. I reinstalled the previous version 2025.2.8 and everything worked fine.

No, just tested and updated from 2.8 to 2.9, no problem, using win10.
Try a full restart of pc, maybe that helps.

I have a similar problem: when testing the optimisation before the upgrade, there were no errors. Now, I have 760 errors with a project size of just 100MB.

A catastrophe that is!! A shame!!!

all links between pages work in the preview-mode. But after uploading, ALL the ones which I have modified since the upgrade do not show up at all in the real internet - as I said only in the wX5 preview mode.

The constant error over all pages is "object not contained in sitemap.XML", which is wrong and was never complained about before.

Furthermore, the order of my pages, and subgroups have partly been completely re-grouped in a total mess, after the upgrade, but I did not do anything.

How is it possible to downgrade? This is really annoying!!

(German > English) If a project has been opened and edited with the new version, it can no longer be opened with an older version - unless there is a backup that was created with the older version.

The web address would be helpful to check the website and the broken links.

A general look at optimization notifications. Due to the new accessibility features, there are now many notifications when no alternative text is provided for images.

Images are displayed as "not in sitemap.xml" if no information has been provided for these images under "SEO".

Hello Christoph,
could you please open a separate post about these, as they are different issues compared to what was mentioned by David, so that these can be analyzed?
As Daniel said, the warning about sitemap.xml should be related to the lack of information provided for images, however if you can provide additional information in the new post I will take a closer look at the situation.
Thank you.
