Many of my customers wish to make changes to their sites themselves. Are there any plans to make an online version of WebsiteX5 that would give clients access to edit text, add images and make non structual changes?

Hi John,

Thank you for your message.

At the moment, there are no plans for an online version of WebSite X5, I'm sorry about this.

WebSite X5 is designed as a desktop software: the entire process of creating, managing, and updating websites takes place locally on the user’s computer, rather than via a web-based platform.

If your clients would like to make updates, the usual approach is either to provide them with access to the project file or to manage the updates on their behalf using the software. Since you are creating websites for clients, you should use the Agency edition of WebSite X5 for creating the websites and, when a client requires full independence, you can consider providing the website together with a WebSite X5 Pro license, which you can resell to them, so they can manage and update their site autonomously on their own computer.

Please let us know if you need any further clarificatio. Kind regards.
