The PREVIEW is going berserk now...... On most things I add!!!
I Frank,
That's the same problem we have talked about in this other post: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/28335
That' caused by a .NET bug which doesn't allow the scripts to load foreign sources (like the ones loaded by facebook) without blocking the preview. If you wait a little bit, the preview will start working again.
I know that's really annoying, so we decided to disable those widgets while offline and activate them only when the site is exported online (this change will come in 9.0.10).
As soon as the .NET bug is fixed, the widgets will work flawlessy.
I dont understand...
As I long as I insert the Like box ( standard with the websitex5 facebook page ) it shows immediatly in the preview and is correct after publishing.
When I insert my ownhttp://www.facebook.com/logologicsit only shows like ( enclosed ) after publishing or does not show at all ??
What is goin on?
I mean http://www.facebook.com/logologics
Please take a look at a test site where I tried out every Facebook widget:
http://www.logologics.nl/TEST/subscribe-button.html
http://www.logologics.nl/TEST/like-box.html
etc.

Done a remote tonight and the BLOG isn't working as it should??
The codes for the ADD & FACEBOOK aren't working???
The Tags for the CLOUD aren't working it is listing the categories twice??
The X5er wasn't pleased at all!!!!
What update are you coming up with next because it needs to be HUGE!!
Hi,
THe Facebook problem is solved, thx to Frank, I needed to make a Fanpage, seems the url of a Profile Facebook page, does not work with this widget.
I still wonder though, why the standard websitex5 facebook widget, does not need to be published first, yet shows immediatly in the preview?
Our own Fanpage url in the widget, and we have to publish first? How is that possible?
I did not get arround to the blog, gave that up a long time ago, did not work then either. As for the like button, Frank you are right! I did not test the like box:http://www.logologics.nl/like-us-on-facebook.htmlit looked good so I thought it would work too ( silly me ). Now I tested it and I can send it, looks like that goes well, yet I dont recieve the message?? Not on my Facebook and not in my mail box.
Whats the point of having a like box widget then I wonder?

The PREVIEW stopped working on several occasions and the INCREMENTAL updates DIDN'T work either.... We had to do "FULL" uploads each time to see changes? And YES we deleted the Temporary Internet Files several times too....
The old code still works, even better, it still works when I copy it form an older version of V9 and past it in a project made with the latestV9 :http://www.logologics.nl/TEST/kapper.html
AND, using this old code, the result is showing immediatly in the preview and works well after publishing???
This is the old code ( generated in an older update V9 ) that I am talking about:
<!-- Social Network.Facebook Like Box: START --> <iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http://www.facebook.com/pages/De-Mobiele-Kapper/204156496324423&width=292&colorscheme=light&show_faces=true&stream=true&header=true&height=500" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:292px; height:500px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe> <!-- Social Network.Facebook Like Box: END -->
Hi Frank,
we didn't update it in the last version. Can you provide a link to that site? It seems that the javascript/php files where not uploaded or were deleted after upload.
I've answered to you Annie here: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/28335
Basically, the HTML code of the widgets is the one provided by FB on its site. You can copy paste it directly from http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
To know more on their behavior, I suggest you to read that page (and the one of the specific plugin you want to use).
