Fluid width to fit any size screen

Hello
I want to have a fluid width so the size of the website fits any screen size, is this possible?
I have put the following in the expert section of x5 v9
#imPage {margin: 0 auto; width: 100%px; position: relative;}
Would that work

The background is "Stretch to fit" but the content is fixed width!!
