Delete sitemap link

Can anyone tell me how to delete the sitemap link at the bottom of my web page?
I want to remove it as the website is part of an institution that has a admin area which is password protected but when I click on the sitemap link at the bottom of the homepage it completely bypasses the security in place and allows access to admin pages

I have found the answer myself!!
Go into Advance settings - Styles & Models - Text Tab - on the page item drop down menu make sure "footer" is in the box then uncheck visible box
Job done!
