XML document error

I am unable to launch Incomedia evolution 9. I keep getting a pop up box that says 'An error occurred while loading the project (There is an error XML document (0,0).]' Anyone know how this problem can be fixed please? Thanks, Steve.

Hello Steve,
Please open the folder where the projects are stored and check if there is a backup.iwprj file. You can find the folder by opening the preferences on the main screen of WebSite X5. Once opened the folder you see many folder as many projects you have. Open the folder which contains the project that generates this error and then rename project.iwprj to another name like oldproject.iwprj and the file backup.iwprj to project.iwprj
Once done start the program and try to see if it is possible to open the project.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked for this file and I can't see it having gone through the preferences on the main screen. I can however see a backup.iwprj file in the incomedia file on my desk top but I can't open it. It seems strange I can see it there but not through the preference screen, There is also a project.iwprj file there that appears to have nothing in it.
I will wait for your further advice on what to do. Please bear in mind my computer knowledge isnt brilliant (the website was set up for me...)

Just to add to this I made a back up of the X5 on a pen drive about 12 days ago and I have imported this into X5 as another project this allows me to open x5 and appears to work although I havent made any changes so far. If I upload new changes will the ones I have made on the old project since the back be lost? And will it be ok to carry on using the previous saved and now imported project?

Yes if you upload this copy you had then you will have the old version online and the updated you made during these 12 days will be lost.
In this path you will find the folder containing the project. You can try to rename project.iwprj to another name like oldproject.iwprj and the file backup.iwprj to project.iwprj and then start WebSite X5 and try to open the project.

I have used the back up copy and all appears to be working well. I only need now to update the losses. I will let you know how it goes.

I have replaced the lost data I had lost and it is now working again. Because I am rubbish with computers I an reluctant to make any changes if it is working.
