Audios not played after update

After the update of version 10.0.6.31 there is a problem in Audio menu. Whenever I add an audio track, in the preview mode there is no sound and no possibility to see the track length. After pressing the 'play' button', nothing happens. The audio track does not play. Before the update everything was OK. (In version 10.0.2.24 everything was OK). The operation system installed is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. What should I do?

Please try to install chrome browser and then install the flash player plugin from following link also if it says that it's already present:
http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/?fpchrome
And then install also the Media Player plugin following the instructions on this link:
http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95697
Please let me know if it works.
