Item and Tax are not being added together

I changed the VAT to TAX, however, in the cart it computes the tax but does not add it to the amount of the item. Therefore the total is wrong. How can I add the price of the item and the tax together?

Hello David,
Check your settings in Step 4 Advanced Settings - Shopping Cart - 'Options' tab - 'VAT settings'
In the drop-down menu entitled 'Type' select option '3 - VAT is excluded from the product price'
Your shopping cart should then work as you intend.
