As an alternative to using the built-in update, you can download the full 10.1.0.39 release from here:

http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads

Once downloaded ensure WebSite X5 is closed, then right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator'  -  this will install the updated version over the old, replacing files automatically as necessary.

This method is preferred by some, as certain configurations can cause 406 errors when using the integrated update (usually as a result of proxy, anti-virus, firewall settings, etc.)
