WebsiteX5 Evol 9 Continued use.  en

I want to continue using my WebsiteX5 Evol 9.  My websites are in Evo 9, and until I get comfortable using Evo 10 I need to have the ability work through Evo 9.  It appears that since I upgraded I no longer can use Evo 9 and the codes have be invalidated.  Please advise me if there is a way  I can continue using Evo 9 for those must have projects.

Some of the translations in Evo 10 are slightly different and complicate readily servicing my current websites.

Thanks.

both 9 and 10 should be fine as long as you didn't buy upgrade version.

I have 8,9,10 and all 3 of them work just fine next to each other, since they all get installed in their own folder.

I suggest to make this post private, incomadia staff will get back to you to answer your question.

Hi Henry - yes, as you state in your post, after you upgraded the codes are no longer valid. This was a big issue when Version 10 came out, as a lot of people were caught out and found that their version 9 no longer worked.

I avoided it by buying the full version of 10, not the upgrade. This doesn't help you, of course! There have been times when Incomedia allowed a user to briefly activate Version 9 in order to migrate a site (from 8 to 10 for example) but not for a long period.

You may just have to live with what you can do with version 10. Maybe you can find a cheap version 9 for sale somewhere? Hopefully, someone from Incomedia can confirm what I am saying. Maybe they will be able to help further?
