When you create a form using the E-mail Form object or you set up a shopping cart, to make sure everything works correctly you must specify how WebSite X5 e-mails, that contain user data or customer orders, are to be sent.

To define how e-mails are sent, go to Step 4 - Advanced Settings and open the Data Management window: the available options can be found in the E-mail form script type section.

With the 11.0.4.19 release, as well as the send methods based on the standard PHP "mail" function, 3 new methods have been introduced that use the PHPMailer library.

As you know, the send methods based on the standard PHP "mail" function are:

• Standard script
• Low quality server script
• Low-level script

The new methods, based on the PHPMailer library, are:

• PHPMailer
• SMTP
• Authenticated SMTP

We suggest you use the PHPMailer send method as this guarantees greater compatibility with the various configurations of servers that websites may be published on.
