I have had Website X5 since Version 8 and have used Version 9, Version 10 and Version 11 PRO plus also having templates too.

I run 2 main sites for our work www.craigynoscastle.com and www.selclene.co.uk

I have also persuaded colleagues and my boss to purchase, learn and use X5 10, and 11. We have nearly 20 sites between us and our 3 main niche sites for our Hotel www.craigynoscastleweddings.com and www.dogfriendlywales.com and www.mosthauntedcastle.com

I also do freelance work and it is very obvious from the number of emails we are receiving on an almost daily basis from Google Webmaster Tools that our sites are not mobile friendly.

IN my tutorial https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/113155#4 i discussed how you can get your "user experience" mobile friendly by creating a subdomain (or a folder on your host) with a mobile X5 template and then putting a redirect on your index page so that users of small screen devices (tablets and phones) would go to the mobile template.

THIS THEN ONLY GIVES THE USER A MOBILE EXPERIENCE running the mobile templates URL through Googles Mobile Friendly site still gives a negative response.

I am unaware as to why Incomedia have not responded properly to this point over the past 2 years except for they are looking into it.

I have now had to resort to employing a new staff member on a considerable salary in order to convert, upgrade and re - do alot of our sites to a more Google Friendly Mobile Responsive Design platform being Wordpress.

Meanwhile i have had to spend a long time learning the same in order to convert sites such as www.michaelludwig.co.uk to an RWD site with wordpress (and as an example look at the Just Us Section to see the old site) and www.mikeysoft.info

The only other solution - is to perhaps do a front page on wordpress that tells everyone about us and what we do, and then to have the second or subsequent page pointing to your old content as here :

www.michaelludwig.co.uk - mobile friendly pass from google noting the landing page is www.michaelludwig.co.uk/index.php

www.michaelludwig.co.uk/index.html - not mobile friendly but when you type the domain you land at the index.php

So i am not sure what google sees first the .php or the .html file and whether having both would cause an issue.

I suppose i will find out once it is re-indexed with the new site map.

But in the meantime please Incomedia sort yourself out and start including some proper tested mobile reading Responsive Design Templates - rapidweaver does it for the mac using a templated structure..

Else when you next update to a major release that needs customers you will find you wont have any
