Technical font works in all windows except page creation when entering text

Just got program yesterday. Q1) Technical font works in all windows except in page creation 'Text Object' . Q2) same page... want to have background image (watermark) with text on top - can't seem to achieve

What font are you trying to use? Is it a webfont?
If it's not a webfont it won't appear on the website if not installed and supported by the browser.
About question 2 the text needs to be on the image or it has to be a text object?
You can use the image object function to add the watermark on the image and then save the image so you can use it as background in the template editor.
