Slow response on mobile device
Autor: Matt MrdezaI have created a few very simple websites with X5. Its a great easy and intuitive product! The problem I am having is my website is extremely slow to load on a mobile phone. I am wanting to create some sites to enhance my on-line store so they need to work well on mobile. A lot of my customers research my products on their phone. The sites I created that are slow:
www.mrdeza.com
www.daytradermillionaire.com
These are really just tester sites at the moment while I learn x5, the real deal will be companion/information sites that compliment my main on-line store www.lidlox.com. Lidlox.com is a godaddy store not an x5 website.
So when I test these sites on my galaxy note 4, they are extremly slow to load and are unresponsive for quite some time while loading. I can go to my store at lidlox.com and it is fast to load. I can go to you tube and watch a video with no buffering so I know my 4g connection is good.
I have a bigger site www.mrdezadesign.com also created with x5 version 9.
I recently upgraded to V12 and mrdeza.com and daytradermillionaire were upgraded to v12, but this did not solve the problem These sites utilize the responsive features available in v12. Awesome upgrade! Love it. Just need to solve the slow problem. the daytradermillionaire site is 1.43MB when I analize it in V12. Seems huge for a few pages with 2 small jpeg images.
Please help.

Hello Matt,
I don't experience the slow loading you describe. On the contrary, the sites load almost instantly.
This looks like it could possibly be a localised issue confined to your Galaxy Note 4?
Or perhaps an issue related to your mobile network/data provider?
Kind regards,
Paul

I get the same results on my wifes phone. Other websites including video playback is fast on both phones. we have good 4g in our area. It is only these sites I recently created with X5 that hang up while loading.

It almost seems like the phone is trying to process something and stopping?

I just installed Firefox on my phone, I was using chrome. Same result. Flys thru surfing anything. I can download emailed jpegs in a second or 2. 4g is great. try to surf my sites, and no go.
