What was ment in another discussion about this; with copy-pasting everything from what the person has online.

Can i simple download the entire site i already build with an FTP program into the new project/project folder?

If you do not have a backup or iwprj file, create a new project according to the structures of the published page. You can drag and drop texts, images and data files (pdf, etc.) into the corresponding objects of the page.
Make a backup copy under 5 Project Export regularly. This iwprj or iwprj2 file can then be imported back into websitex5.

Hi Patrick,

how are you? I am sorry for keeping you waiting.

I confirm what JJ.Juag said: please look for any iwzip files, which are the ones you create by creating backup copies of your project. You can also have a look at this procedure, so to try and restore the project by following the steps described for the latest version: helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/47713 .

If, despite everything, you still cannot open your project properly, you will unfortunately have to recreate the project again, I am very sorry about that. To spare time, you can copy the contents like images and texts from the existing website and paste them into the new project.

I really hope you will find the iwzip file! Please, let me know if you can solve the issue. I wish you a lovely day.

Kind regards.
