Haven't used WebX for a while, but want to start a new project now. I'm using WebX 5 13.1 on Windows 10. I can't seem to insert images into the template. The only folders that show up when I select the image folder aren't even in my Pictures and NONE of the ones that are in the folder don't show up at all. HELP!
I've attached screen prints of my Pictures and the WebX insert screen.
Thanks,
GCB
Hmmmm. Apparently I have the same problem when I attempt to attach the screen shots to this email.....

Looks like not x5 then. restart of pc with as less possible program's running as possible?

Doesn't work. I do not have any extraneous background files running.
WebX5 does not have access to ANY image file on my computer regardless of location or extension (.gif, .png, .jpg, .bmp, .TIF, etc). Nothing.
I can view, attach, manipulate, etc. in every other program, as long as it's not associated with WebX5.
This is very ungood.
Might it be that some part of the program got corrupted somehow? Would it be benifical to uninstall and then reinstall?

Then you should be able to make a screenshot this would help.
you could try reinstall make a backup of the project to be save (step5 export project) but it should not be needed.

I DID attempt to attach screen shots to the first email, but I get the same problem. I tried it again with this email and got the EXACT same results; i.e. it won't allow me to choose the file because nothing shows up.
What do I have to do to reinstall the program?

Are you sure you have no popup blocker or something or an add on that filters content? It should work here normaly to make an attachement.
Anyway, reinstall, goto pulldown next to your name top right here in answers.
select your licence number, select the download portal and download the latest version. insall, then verify with licence and e-mail adres you bought x5 with, it should be the same as you use here, see also your portal to bu sure.
With these you can reinstall. your projects should be safe but a backup never hurts.
Hope this helps.

Nope, no popup blockers or anything else. I made sure they were all off. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall.
Cover me, I'm going in! :-D

OK, no good. Exact same problem with the program. I can, however, now attach files to this email so maybe that will help.
Gregory, in Windows you are looking at a different "picture" folder than in WX5, you will find you have another if you browse your PC. WX5 is (I assume) looking in c:\users\yourname\pictures which is empty.
BTW, you can simply copy a screenshot/image to the clipboard and then paste into your post if this is easier (ctrl+v)
