When you start WX5, select existing project, select backup, select one of the backups and then select redo, does this open a copy of your website without error?

Most furious,  most common and most serious accident with a very long history (still not repair) of this programm. If you don't have any backup probably you lost the project.

Like Esahc says press the backup button, x5 makes backups for you (if option is set on, this is pulldown in save button). else try the other (same) project and see if you have backup projects there, redo them and try again.

If there are no backups then you need to start all over again, making backups (and save them on another medium then your pc) is importand, do this in step 5 export project.

You can still use files from internet if you need to start over again (you can copy text and things like that) into your new project.

So hopefully you will find another backup.

the option of back up was set on, and the back ups they make are not working !!!

Did you undo this change at the time? (if not, this may be the reason the backups will not open)

yes, I receive  the same message all the time!!! And Esahc ,There was no information about undo xml file names. So I didn't

Ismail, can you provide a screen shot of the contents of your project directory and the contents of your backup directory?
