Help with connecting database X5 v15

I need someone technical to help me connect mySQL databases I have set up in CPanel with the databases in X5 V15.
I cannot get the email attachment files to go or be seen by the Cpanel database and I dont know how I can get an email fom the server saying there is a file/image waiting on the server for me to upload from a customer.

In 1 - Settings / advanced settings - Data
You create/add a database connection
You then get a pop-up that you have to fill with the information needed to connect to the database.
When done, you then have a connection/setting you can use where you in X5 need to connect to the database.
