V15 Pro Automatic registration issue  en

I have the same problem as was desribed here https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/pt/post/179745 in V15 Pro.

Project was created in previous version, imported to V15 Pro and I have problems with automatic registration now.

When new user is registered, he/she/it receive the validation mail. After email validation I can see user's info in the database (table), in Website manager, in Database viewer also. But when I press Update button in Access management settings, I don't see any new registered users...

And yes, I've try to press Ctrl+Preview and export whole project to empty website root folder...

I have same problem. I have turn off email validation.

Hi Jano.

Do you receive any specific message when you click on the update button? Or does it simply not work?

The best way to understand what could be causing this, since the reasons could be many, would be the following.

Please try and upload your whole website on a new temporary free hosting, and test this functionality there.

Does it work there? Or does the same exact issue occur?

So, I've try everything you suggest me. Turn off email verification; re-save project (Ctrl+Preview); export project to new ftp; delete project in WX5 15 pro menu and import it again from iwzip, then export it to main and alternative ftp...

Results are the same always - I can't see new user in Acces management. When I press the Update button, I receive a message about successfull download, but nothing is downloaded (see attachment)

Hi Jano.

At this point, it would be best if we could test whether the issue for this can be found inside the project itself, or if there is some kind of incompatibility going on between the hosting and the software.

Please test this for me.

Get a new free temporary hosting, and upload the website there.

Try and perform the same operation you're performing now, and see if it works then.

If it does, then there's probably some misconfiguration on your current hosting. Else, we will continue to analyze your project specifically.

Hi Stefano,

so, problem is obviously in transforming from older version and then generating.

Definitely isn't problem between the hosting and the software. I've create whole new project (test) with automatic registration, set new table in the same database as is included in defected project, and then I've export it to new folder on same hosting (sbul.sk/test). Everything works well...

Hi Jano,

I see. So you're getting this issue with a project that from v15 was directly opened in v16 right?

If possible, try this still for me.

Try to create an IWZIP instead, from v15, and import it like that. Let me know if it works.

Also, if possible, try and export the v15 version AGAIN directly into v16 too, just to be sure it is a consisten error and not random.

Hi Stefano,

project was created in V12 Pro, then converted from .iwzip to V15 Pro, and problem with automatic registration occur. 

Opening project (v15Pro) in v16 Pro doesn't help, problem is still there.

I've try to convert project from V12 Pro from .iwzip to V16 Pro (16.0.4), and automatic reg. still doesn't work correctly - I can register, I receive verification mail, I can login, but in Access management window after pressing "update" I don't see this user, but pop-up window with message about successfull update appear.

Update

when I delete all users registered in previous version (v12 Pro), everything starts working well...

Hi Jano.

This sounds most weird.

Where did you delete them from? The software? The Database?

Did you have to delete them from the software, and then after pressing update those were updated successfully?

Hi Stefano,

Database was brand new end empty, assigned to Automatic registration in latest software only.

In software (V16.0.4 Pro) in section Access Management I've deleted all old groups and users (created in previous version and imported from .iwzip file). Some old users don't have email assigned to their profile (previous version V12 allows to registrate and login only with nickname and password).

After deleting all old users and groups in software I was able to download/update new users in software.

It is easier to delete all old users, and ask them to register again.
