Hello - I noticed that "Flip page" is not properly working with 2019-PRO. Portrait mode picture (vertical) is not hidding the previous landscape mode picture (horizontal). That means that both previous right and left sides of the landscape picture are still on display when the new portait picture is on display.
I never had this Pb with any of the previous versions (9 to 16)
Tks for your support - Regards Marc (expatelecom.net)

There is an object available in optional objects caused page flip. I cannot find this on your website.
Does this mean you are using some other object (gallery??) and simply selecting flip for the photo transition?

Hello, i'm using the payed option "pageflip" that I bought from the "slide show" section (logo is a green square with an open book inside).
I also have discovered a new bug today in the payed option " Justified Gallery" that I bought 2 days ago from the "gallery" section. When using the up arrow to move up a picture, the full display of list of the existing files disappear. It is so not possible to move up the picture to the exact place required. I have to wait for the list to reapper (few seconds) to see where the picture is positionned and make a new guess to move up the picture.
Tks for both corrections.
Hi J Marc.
I'll try to address both issues separately.
1_ About the PageFlip issue: Do you perhaps have an online page where this happens? or can you provide a screenshot of this? If I understood the issue correctly, then I haven't been able to reproduce the problem in the newest version like you did, so I believe I might have missed some steps to recreating this
2_ About the Justified Gallery: I assume the issue you mentioned refers to the UI where you can customize the Object. From my tests, the gallery that appears on the side is not representative of the real thing, so I don't really understand where the problem could be coming from. Additionally, if I move an image up or down, it takes about half a second to reappear, but perhaps I'm once again performing the wrong test
Please verify all of this and keep me posted on it
Thank you
Stefano

Bonjour Stephano,
1) to reproduce the pb please visit my page : www.expatelecom.net/rainy-night.html you will see the overlap with successives portrait picture and landscape picture. There is no trouble with successive portrait mode pix or successive landscape mode pix.
2) the trouble is the following : the display of the list of existing pictures in the left of the UI screen desapear 1 second when moving up 1 picture (with the up arrow). So when I click 10 times on this up arrow (to move 1 picture 10 places up), the display desapear for 10 sceonds (approx) meaning that the move is made in a "blind mode".
With previous v16 the move of a picture (up or down) was made instantly with to delay whatever the number of clicks to move a picture.
Tks for the corrections, Rgds, Marc

I can see the page flip issue on your site when I use chrome, but not in firefox. Have you set a background colour in pageflip? I created a slideshow with landscape and portrait images on transparent background and the problem was visible in preview. I set the background colour and the problem disappeared. Could you confirm you are using a coloured background and not transparent.
I added about 50 images to flip page but I cannot reproduce the delay. Are the images very large? If in doubt please go to step5 export, export project and before doing so, select optimise. When complete restart wx5, select import and import the new iwzip (this will NOT overwrite your existing project). Can you now move images up and down without delay?
Marc, I have split the last post off because this is an unrelated question (& I always wanted to see how to split a post :-)

Bonjour,
I have unfortunatly checked the ovelap Landscape/Portrait on : Android, and Apple smartphones, so as on my Windows 10 PC (+ chrome). Once more, you need to retain that the overlap has never been displayed with previous v16. This overlap malfunctions came with the latest compiled version that I have bought - I have already hundreds of pictures recorded with the pageflip option at the time I was using V16.
The configutation of the page that you have seen the pb is attached to this post.

Following my previous Post to help you finding the bug of display with pageflip execution on end-user equipments:
Just want to add that when using the pageflip option from WX5 plateform and using the display buton, there is no overlap between landscape and portrait whatever the sizing of the dynamic display. The bug of display with pageflip only appears after exportation on end-users equipments (android, Apple, Windows).
I am a believer. . .
I created a new project, added only pageflip, added 4 images - preview works fine.
Exported project to local hard disk and opened it - looks great in firefox and chrome
Uploaded the project to the web - disaster, exactly as you say.
I will return to this post when I have checked just one thing. . .
(all checked - please see next post. Yes you are right (thanks for the heads up on how to reproduce the problem)!! This has got to be a bug :-)
I have marked this post for Incomedia's attention.
Incomedia, please check the functionality of pageflip object in v2019
The attached project contains only a pageflip object with 4 images.
As stated by J.Marc, if you preview it all is well, if you export to local hard disk and view in default browser, all is well, but if you upload to the internet and view it the problem appears. Initially I presumed the issue may be caused by PHP5.6, but I have updated my hosting to PHP7.1 and the problem persists.
Check here:- https://esahc.com/flip/
in Firefox if the problem is not evident click CTRL+F5 to make it appear
In Chrome, if the problem is evident click CTRL+F5 and the problem disappears!!
Many thanks in advance
Hello Marc, Esahc
Thank you for the detailed explanation of the issue
I proceeded to forward the test project to the developers so that the problem can get properly analyzed and resolved.
I will be sure to inform you here as soon as there's news on the matter
Thank you

Tks for your time & support, I'm so waiting for the correction.
By the way may you please confirm the PHP version I should state on my hosting provider (Online.net). I'm not sure that it is currently 7.1 - for sure my current version was ok with v16 - it might need change with 2019-Pro version ?
Tks & rgds, Marc
Hello J. Marc,
You'll be fine with anything from PHP 5.6 upwards. I'm running PHP 7.3 with no issues.
Kind regards,
Paul

Bonjour Paul,
Just understand that I bought an option with V16-PRO which is not working anymore with 2019-PRO. My users are so facing a non-profesionnal display. I had to expose a disclaimer on the main page to share that Incomedia solution is due to provide an update for the corrupted display. This is not fare to me.
Tks & Rgds, Marc
Bonjour Marc,
I understand the situation you are in and can appreciate how frustrating it must be, especially when there was no issue when using a previous version of WebSite X5.
Unfortunately, I am just a regular user like yourself: I don't work for Incomedia and have no influence over their company policy.
I have good faith that Stefano will provide an update promptly once a fix for the faulty Object has been implemented. But I will continue to monitor this thread personally for you, and I am here to follow up on your behalf if necessary. I am sure other moderators will do the same.
Merci,
Paul

Tks Paul. Sorry for the preissure on your back as intermediate user.
After double checking it seems that display is now finaly back to normal on Android and Chrome. I currently can't check on Apple.
May you please kindly check by yourself on https://www.expatelecom.net/rainy-night.html for instance, that there is no more overlap your side, on sequential Portrait/landscape pictures with the Pageflip display.
I guess I have to deeply tks Stephano /Incomedia team for this return to normal for the display of the PageFlip.
Tks & Rgds to All, Marc
No problem at all, Marc.
I've tested your link on Brave (Chrome), Firefox, Internet Explorer and Android, and can see no issues with the PageFlip, so I guess that's good news!
All the best,
Paul
Hi J Marc.
I can confirm that a new update for Page Flip has been released that will fix the mentioned issue.
