Jamie.

As a test please disable (or temporarily uninstall) any 3rd party anti virus, malware protection, firewall, sync software (eg one drive). If this resolves it you can put exceptions in place.

You say this is an issue with new projects, do you have any existing or upgraded projects, and if so do they open and behave correctly?

Also try downloading the program from this site, remove it from your computer and reinstall it.
It would be better if you previously make a backup of all your projects.

Existing project was V17 and it converts to the new version when I load the project and seems to be working fine.

The issue is when I try to create the new project. My computer has windows 10. Please find attached error

message detail. Thank you for your help

Jamie, if you use one of the blank templates does this error occur? If you are using a template, does the problem occur with other templates??

Try to restart the computer and make sure that none of the programs from Atalasoft is running.

Hello Jamie,

Have you managed to resolve this issue?

Atalasoft is an imaging library and a core component of WebSite X5.  Error messages like the one you have received almost always indicate an anomaly with either Microsoft .NET Framework, or Microsoft Visual C++, on the computer on which you have installed WebSite X5.

I will flag this thread for the specific attention of the Incomedia support staff, who will be able to advise you on the exact steps you should take to get everything working as it should again.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello Jamie

It would greatly help in order to better understand what seems to be causing the issue if you could attach a screenshot of the "details" section of the error, as shown in my screenshot:

Important information is usually reported there and it could help me understand the nature of the issue

Additionally, do you notice this happening during specific operations only or randomly?

Please verify this and keep me posted here

Thank you

Stefano
