Let's say I sell a product X and I have a total quantity of 10.


In my WEB-SHOP, I want to communicate to the buyer the exact number of products X available.

Upon the ORDER of one (1) product X - will the number of available products X in the database be automatically set to nine (9)?

Or, the number of available products will be set to nine (9) but ONLY after the shop-owner confirms the shipping of this one product via online ADMIN page?

So, basically my question is:
WSX5 needs a "manual" update on the number of products on stock?
OR the system will automatically "deduct" the number of products still on stock upon receiving the order?

I do hope that I was clear on this - I have no "live" site to show you...

Hello Sinisa,

The Pro version of WebSite X5 gives you the option of only having the available quantity changed upon order dispatch.  In other words when you manually process each order via the online control panel or the WebSite X5 Manager app.

But it is an option only...  you can set the software to do either.

If you go to your shop in x5, step 1 advanced TAB -> shopping card, you ca see the availability.

if you press the update button the latest sells will be corrected in this view.

if you edit a product and change availability you will see the changes offline, after a update it is updated to the website.

That's basicly how the availability works. 

If a customer buy's something online the availability will be corrected online automaticly.

Yeah, unfortunately we're home because of this freaking' virus scare!

I went out to my dearest park (we are limited to stay within the county limits) -the park is very large (2*3 km) but it's so crowdy that it's silly...
...people are "hungry" to be outside... so sad to see that this "scenario" is rolling out...
