It sure is impossible to work with  Evo 2020.1.7. I installed it yesterday, when I tried to open my website design it took 2 hours to initaialise the project files. When I made a small change, removing two sentences text, again it starten for half an hour to initialise the files. Uploading my website took again half an hour saying preparing for upload. At that moment I quit, not suitable to work with, not friendly and a wast time and money. Inhave asked for a refund and keep on working with evo 15.

This morning I wanted to try to open my website design again, wich took 2 hours of initialising yesterday. Its busy for one hour and I'm still waiting.........

Emma, how big are the images?

Before using any image in WX5 I resize to a maximum of 1200px wide (I use irfanview when in a hurry - free), frequently this makes the images 70% smaller (or more) and dramatically improves WX5 performance and website display speed.

There should be no variation in performance if this project came from v2019.3, if this is not the case please create an iwzip file (step 5, export project) and re-open WX5 and import (this will never overwrite the original project). If this does not help can you make sure you are not using 3rd party antivirus/malware/firewall or vpn software and you are working locally (not over a network/usb or cloud connection)

Slegers, if you have imported a project from v15 there are bound to be issues.

I assume you have a different post elsewhere requesting a refund, please continue your discussions there. Be aware that in the interim if you create an iwzip in v2020 and import it this frequently cleans out minor issues. When you finish tweaking your website to look better in v2020 so you do not need to modify menu/header/footer/structure/sticky bar/etc (ie features that affect EVERY page of the site) the performance will return to the level you expect.

And if you make a change that affects every page, please do a ctrl+preview so the whole site is refreshed before saving and preview.

Dear Esahc, thanx for your respons,  however, yesterday I tried to work in Evo  2020.1.7, everytime in the same design I made earlier in Evo 15,  and it was not a succes, today I will give you an exemple of the problems.

started project evo 10:53 initialising and loading till 10:58

first page trying to open the tool justified gallery 10:59

11:06 still trying to open, I give up, not workable

I must say being busy for 13 minutes and have done nothing...I think its a waste of time and money. In Evo 15 I can start and work within a minute

Hello Esahc, no I have no shop attached, but yesterday incomedia wrote me that an update, 2020.1.8.1 was available. This morning I downloaded the update and many of my problems seem to be solved, so far. The version is still not as fast as Evo 15 but its workable. So I would like to thank you for your support
