Any Idea how one of my websites is showing WebX5 demo version? - I have always had a paid up membership, and i am unaware of using a template that i havent paid for, if that is even possible?? See screenshot attached.
None of the others are displaying it. I will investigate while i await your replies.
thanks.
PS Now I am getting a generic error when trying to upload???

Hi Andy,
Did you try this if this folder exists on the server:
May be??? ;o))

Demo version... Is you Licence OK on C:\Users\Jean Pierre\AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro?
Only two or more software installations?

And surely if it was a Licence issue, it would be all the sites i have created and not just the one?? I have quite a few "live" sites, and this is the only one showing the webX5 demo logo???
Hello Andy,
This issue crops up now and again, although not as often as it used to in years gone by. Apologies but I have absolutely no idea why it should have happened in your own particular case, especially on a single site only.
There are quite a few threads on the subject:
WebSite X5 Demo unregistered version
It appears to be relatively easy to correct. I suggest following the procedure that Samantha from Incomedia outlines here:

If you continue to have difficulty then we'll ask Incomedia to assist.
Kind regards,
Paul

Thanks Paul,
What a faff though!! I will endeavour to try and uninstall and install everything again.
Why it has affected only 1 site i have no idea..

Paul,
That seems to have worked. In over 9 years have never encountered anything like that, and i have been using since ver. 11.
But all seems ok now.. cleared the cahce and "demo" has disappeared..
Thanks for your input..
Glad it's sorted, Andy... and thanks for letting us know. It is an odd phenomenon, for sure!
