http://canbeltos.songanddanceireland.com/covid-19-form.html

I created an online form using a godaddy database but I'm getting an error message:

Fatal error: Class 'imEMail' not found in /home/content/12/11870612/html/canbeltos/res/x5engine.php on line 4708

I only updated the changes on the file as the file is too huge to upload from the home location I'm at.  I tried to add html code that I saw on a help forum <?php require_once('res/x5engine.php'); ?> to see if this would fix the problem. It's an urgent COVID form that I'm trying to put in place in time for people meeting tomorrow!  Any help please to avoid me having to upload the entire website again (as I won't be able to do this until i have a decent broadband connection again - I'm in the French countryside at the moment!)

Thanks

Orla

Hello Orla,

Normally I would recommend (in the first instance) doing a CTRL-Preview followed by a full upload to the server, but I appreciate this isn't a valid option for you right now.

I would reverse the steps which you have taken as far as adding code is concerned.

What version of PHP is currently running on your server?  Has there been any fairly recent change or update to the PHP version on the server?  It may even be that your webhost has updated PHP silently without your knowledge.

Version 11 of WebSite X5 is now quite old and it is entirely possible that the code is not compatible with any cutting edge PHP installed on your server.  I would usually never suggest doing this, but you could try rolling back to PHP 5.6 to see if that provides a temporary cure.

Kind regards,

Paul

Thanks a mill Paul - really helpful!  See attached - it looks like I got all the passes needed (ignore the earlier FAIL databases as I had wrong passwords for these and have since deleted them).  I also found out that the 8 test inputs I made actually did update the godaddy database so the info was sent through ok even though I got the error message (and am still getting it).  I'm on the latest version for my other sites but haven't converted this over yet.  Once I have a proper broadband speed I'll try the full update to see if this clears it and get cracking on the conversion!

Take care, Orla :-)
