85% of time waisted on fixing wsx5's bugs...  en

I have still (unfortunately) two web shops that I made for clients with WSX5.

Last week I had to update those web-shops: price change, new product variants, adding few new pictures... basically a 30 min. job.

BUT, updating to the newest WSX5 version - this 30 min job - becomes a 180 min job! (that I cannot charge the client)

> the gallery was all messed up - thumbnails were minimized to 10x10 pix size;
> the number of thumbnails in the gallery changed from 4 in a row to 10 in a row;
> UPLOADING ONLY CHANGES takes forever - basically a complete website update although I have specified to update the changes ONLY! 
> the template margins were messed up;
> the new system messages were added - which I have to translate (not a problem but a nuisance);
> the PREVIEW is SUPER-SLOW (I mean - at least 50% slower then before)


This program IS NOT USABLE as a professional tool - PERIOD!

Now every new version presents a threat to me - 'cause I don't know what problem I'll find updating existing websites. A nightmare!

I have lost 2,5 hours figuring out how to fix WSX5 generated errors!!!

@ Incomedia - I still do hope that you'll try your best to get your stuff in order for the sake of the remaining users.

i agree with you sir i have also lots of probelm But  2 problem not solve. 2 month ago not sovle this my issue check my profile thanks

The development and coding of this software needs an urgent and comprehensive update. This, obviously, will not happen.

Yeah, I'm glad I have find the time (& the will power) to switch to something truly professional...
Again, unfortunately I still have my company website + those two sites made by WSX5...

...I'll had to find the time make a complete switch or I'll start invoicing Incomedia for the lost time.

I just wonder how many hours will go by when this post gets deleted...

it is a true thing, frustration is shared. not sure if the grass is greener next door, but I have people testing website(s) on a daily basis. Backgrounds that disappear, icons getting resized, pages that were mobile friendly become unfriendly due small size changes and moving parts. but as said before, as long sites perform on google compared to competition it is how it is. The real worry to me is what is called "customer care". There are times that i feel pretty alone, as left alone, as left in the dark. Would love to pay a bit more to get more in this case.

May I know what you switched to please, Sinisa? 
Whereabouts are you in Hrvatska? I worked in Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik for a while so I know your lovely country. wink
