Custom domain name expired with no notice from Websitex5  en

I went to read my emails this morning and found my custom webspace has expired without notice (via email) with no option to reactivate it. I did have an option to activate a default webspace (given by websitex5), which I am doing. Now I will need to transfer my old custom webspace name to this newly activated webspace as quickly as possible since my website and email server are now offline due to this lack of communication by Websitex5.

What do I need to do to expedite this operation? My original webspace name is https://crann-na-beatha.com I need this webspace name assigned to my newly activated webspace https://terrance-o.websitex5.me ASAP.

Hello Terrance,
I am sorry about the issue, it is likely that our automated notifications about the hosting space's expiration were flagged as spam or otherwise blocked.
It would be possible to move the domain to your newly activated web space, but please keep in mind what doing so would mean having to re-create the e-mail address associated with your domain, and your e-mails stored there would be lost.
If you have e-mails that should be maintained, the best option would be to go ahead with the extension of the hosting currently associated with crann-na-beatha.com

From what I'm reading here in your email, and from what I'm seeing on my dashboard, I have two webspaces, or I did anyway. If I transfer my domain to this webspace,  https://terrance-o.websitex5.me, I would lose any emails on the email server I had before. My question is this. If I opted to do this, would this webspace;  https://terrance-o.websitex5.me be  renamed  to  https://crann-na-beatha.com ? My  website  DNS  is  set  for  https://crann-na-beatha.com . Would  I have  to  change all  of  my  DNS  parameters on  all  of  my  platforms  linked  to  this  domain?

Hello Terrance,
what DNS parameters are you referring to?
The domain crann-na-beatha.com is registered with us and not redirected from another registrar, so usually there are no interventions regarding the DNS records.

You currently have one active hosting space, expiring in march, and another that has expired but is still in its Grace period and so can still be extended.
It is possible to move the domain from the hosting in Grace status to the active one, but as I said this would imply losing your e-mails.
Would you still like to go ahead with this?
Otherwise, it is still possible to extend the expired web space through the buylink I posted earlier.

I understand. I don't have any serious emails that I can't afford to lose on the old email server space so moving the domain to the active hosting space makes better sense. I would like to consolidate what I have and just renew as needed one webspace and domain as needed. Please make the transfer as soon as you can and I will keep checking back here during my day to hear back from you when its completed. My main concern is my website that is now down. I would like to be able to bring that back online as soon as possible. I can redirect any emails I still have on the old server. Thank you.

Why haven't I heard anything about my services here? My website is still down. Do I need to find another website hosting service? It's been down for nearly 48 hours now and I haven't heard from anyone in 24 hours. I realize I am about 7 hours behind in time zones but I haven't heard back from anyone since I got a message from Eric C asking me what I wish to do yesterday.

I need a response within the next few hours or I will have to pull the plug on Websitex5 and move my website to another hosting platform.  I realise that I am just a small customer so the lost revenue won't be much but I can sure make a lot of noise about this.

It's 4 pm July 15th here on the east coast of the U.S. and I know that all of you are snug in warm beds right now in Italy. I haven't received any answers to my questions so far, and now I have to wait another day. I have likely made some people not happy with me at Websitex5 at this point and that's okay. I'm sure there are bigger fires to put out there at Websitex5 tech support than my small website being down for days now.

I have two choices right now as I see it. I can wait this out a little longer to see if I ever receive a response, or I can request to transfer my domain name to an American hosting platform, where the customer service is more responsive.

To transfer my domain name, I will need a release code, which puts me right back where I am now. Writing emails into the ether. So, I guess I don't have any choice but to wait a little longer. At the worst, if I don't hear from anyone soon, I can scrap my old domain name and create a new one on a different hosting platform like Hostinger, then upload my website files to their servers. I could be up and running in a day or so.

The easiest and most cost effective answer is to just transfer my domain name to the Websitex5 active web space and be done with it. If I could just get someone to acknowledge my request. Even if it's just to tell me you're working on it. I hope to hear from someone very soon.

All that remains is to wait until the employees get in touch.
