General error loading file

When I try opening the programme, a notification box pops up saying "general error loading file". What should I do? Will my website layout and design stay the same if I have to reinstall?

Can you please write out step be step exactly what I need to do. It's my school website and I took on the challenge of setting it up but have not got great IT skills. So far I have uninstalled the programme, was I correct in doing this? Am not sure which version of incomedia I should be reinstalling (without losing all my files) and do I have to purchase a newer version?
All help would be greatly appreciated!

you can install the software again without worries about loosing your projects, what version of WebsiteX5 do you have? I see that there is no licence attach to your profile, is the software registered to an other email?

Hi Michele, yeah its probably under the school email address which ***, I think its version 7. Will check again tomorrow at work.

you can reinstall the software using the same email / password used for the original installation.
Since you have version 7 you cannot view your licence or download the software in your profile on answers, but you can download it at this link http://static.incomedia.eu/websitex5.com/v7/wsx5_ev.exe .
