Use another FTP

For various reasons I want to use another FTP program - Ipswitch WS_FTP - as I have it all set up for my server.
Where can I find the individual files generated by X5 and will I be able to upload them as php?

The files are generated in your preferences directory. see page 0 at startup of v10.
Also you can export them to any place you wish in page 5.
You can set pages in page 2 (properties) in expert tab to php.
