Shopping Cart purchase Progression

When making a purchase from the Shopping Cart, the order number page (with the Pay Pal Buy Now button) appears before payment has been made. Is this my error?
...or is it a a common error?
...and how can the problem be corrected?

Hello Leslie,
The page you see is the order page with the order number and the button to proceed to the payment which will be made after on paypal.
the program generates the order which can also be paid after or with a bank transfer and so the payment cannot be verified automatically since it can happen on a second moment.
You will receive the order from the website and the email with the confirmation of the payment and then the order is completed.

On the same page (step 4 of the purchase process) after the order number - is a message from paypal stating that the order and payment have been received.
Please, how can I edit this message so that there is no refernce to the payment being received? ...as no payment has been received.

Your order has been correctly sent and will be processed as soon as possible.<br /><br />An e-mail will be sent to you with all the data entered as well as shipment instructions and payment details.<br /><br />In order to track your order, please note your Order Number:
To change this text you need to go in step 1 and click on the button after the choice of the content language. It will open the language content managment and then you need to find the ID cart_step4_descr
If it's not following text please send me a screenshot of it.

I have a sneaking feeling that I generated the text, but I cannot recall how or where..

To edit this text you need to go to step 4 - shopping cart - then select the Order Management tab and then open the Paypal payment type added and in the window which appears open the Email Message tab and then you can edit it.
This text is the same which will be sent to the customer automatically once made the order containing also the link to proceed to pay it with paypal.
