Hi Gordon,

I dont know if this is what you are thinking of, but you can have objects stretched as many cells as you want and in that way use some cells like as they where split into 2 or more cells and other like they are not split.

If you want something to cover the entire length or width of the page you stretched it over all cells in the desiered direction.
If you want it to cover only part of the length or width of the page you put it in only the cells you want it to cover.

See attached picture.

Hi L

Many thanks for your response.

Firstly, it looks as though you are using the Pro version whereas (at the moment) I only have the Evolution version.

It would appear that yours will give me what I'm looking for.

I've done a rough and ready mod of your picture to show exactly what I need.

Not that it really matters but I need text in the two cells marked "T" and images in the "A" cells.

Can you add anything please? I'll upgrade to the Pro version if necessary.

My thanks again

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

You don't need the pro version to do what you want, any of the versions of X5 will do it, you just need to add more columns and rows and then resize the text and image cells to fit as you need.

Regards,

Mark.
