Upgrade options/possibilities?

I have compact v9 and am considering upgrade. I have downloaded v10 free but this will not import the project (it says it cannot open lower versions) so I a unable to view how it would work? Please advise.
I have also looked at other versions, but the comparison chart between versions does not include version 10 'home'. Why not? What is in this version? Is this a viable upgrade route for me? TIA, Chris.

free version is like a demo version and some features are being disabled.
but still you can see the new features. it worth the upgrade but go with evo version and not compact!
by importing your website everything will look the same, exept it is tottaly compatible with Html5 now, pluse there are many customized feature available in v10.

Thank you Anthony A, but can someone tell me how the 'home' version compares with the other two?
In fact it would be useful to have side by side comparisons of all four versions, ie:
Free, Home, Compact & Evolution

Aha! So there are five versions, not four.
I had found this page (but forgotten the pro one), but that still leaves the 'free' and 'home' editions "Uncompared". :-)
I would of course expect the most expensive version to have the most features, but this still leaves gaps in the answer to one of my original questions...
Please show ALL versions in a comparison chart.

Hello Chris,
The Free and Home Editions are limited and contains less than the ones listened on the comparison. To continue to work on the project on a higher Version zou need at least to use the compact 10.
The Home and Free contains less templates, as objects in step 3 Text object, image object, video and audio object, social network, map and flash animation object.
