To date I have been using Evolution 10 but have purchased Professional 10 and now cannot load my Evo 10 project file into Prof 10 without the whole site template becoming corrupted and then not displaying properly. Can anyone help please??

these 2 version use different format, but its easy to fix once you import it, just need a little touch up to fit into new body structure. since 10 pro has more options available for setting, template will be little messed up untill you fix it.

Oh - that's disappointing. I don't know how to fix the template as I'd had it designed for me by someone else. I only do page content updates myself. I'd understood the software types were compatible... I guess I have wasted my money upgrading then and shall simply continue using the old software version :-(

@Anthony

I buy a template that was build in Evolution and i'm using the professionel edition! And that was no problem!

My template is unfortunately all over the place when I import it into Professional. Nothing fits and while I've tried to resolve my knowledge simply isn't that good :-(

Hello Freya,

Try to export only the template in the template selection in step 1 in the Evolution so you will have an IWTPL file which then can be imported in the Professional.

The templates have the same structure and it should appear correctly. Probably it can depend on some image files which are not recognised correctly and it could depend on the image name of the custom template. Try to check if in the name there are non latin characters or space and in case rename them and add these in the template again and then it should appear correctly.

Please keep me updated.
