CAN I CREATE A WELCOME PAGE AS INDEX.HTML.. WITH USER NAME AND PASSWORD

Hi All
USING WEBX5 evolution
I want to make a welcome page that loades first (i guess thats uindex.html)
then
i want to have a link on that Welcome page to another page that requestes a "user name and password" from my customer If successful the user then access my web site
Congrats WEBSITEx5 guys ........love ya software
I have found web access control etc but i am confused

create your wellcome page like any other welcome pages, important is the destination after welcome page. lest say your english version is home-en.php, or home-fr.php or home-ru.php, you need to lock thos pages to be marked as private area pages.
in map creation section, select the page then click on the icon at the top it has lock picure next to the icon. in some cases x5 does not let you to lock the homepage, if that happened duplicate the home page, then add redirect code to your original homepage to the secound one you created.
