Hi. I am a new user user of Webiste X5 Evolution 11, and am currently redesigning our current site in Evolution.
It's all going well. I have a blog page going now but I would like to be able to format its appearance. In particular I would like to increase the gap between the post text and the side blocks as I find them uncomfortably close. I am having trouble working out how to do this, and cannot seem to find any topic here that has already dealt with this. If I am missed it, sorry!
The Blog uses a standard template that is matched for the template yu choose for your website.
You can do a few adjustments here: goto step 4 -> blog then select TAB layout, slect a block you wish to adjust, press edit button on the right. You will find 2 tabs for adjustments. But as I said it's not very much, you could set text margins higher, the text will then be further away from the box (more inside) but the box itself will remain the same. Also some border chenges can be doen.
If this does not help, make a prtscrn with what you would like to see, maybe Incomedia can make adjustments if it's truly too close. You need to mention the used template in step 1 as well.
But again, I'm not sure so hopefully this helps, you could alos try a different template, but then your website will also have a different template.
Hope this helps a bit...
Thanks, Andre. It was a nice idea, but the editing only affects the internal margin of the "Monthly Posts" block, not the size of the block itself. And I cannot seem to change the margin of the blog post blocks either.
Maybe on an update Incomedia could add a margin editing feature for the blog page elements.
All the best.
Yes, you could certanly ask Incomedia this with an IDEA post.
But the blocks itself are not changeable for users.
