Why MP3 or MP4 will not run in version 11

Hi I have had version 7-8-9 and have used my Christmas MP3 and MP4 audio song in all 3 versions. I purchased version 11 and placeing the same MP3-MP4 into it they just will not run. I have tested the same files into my ver9 that I still have on my PC and all is ok. Question why do these files not run in Ver11 . Answer asap would be appriciated.
