How to put the flashing text

Hi, my website address is:

Whenever I upddate my website with new material, I wish I could put a flashing text "New" nearby the corresponding tab where I have posted the new article or video whatsoever.
Anybody may kindly help?

Thank you for your advice. I really don't know the procedure to put the word "new" on the top ior nearby anyone of my tab menu,

...understood; I mean that for each flashing "new"you need to add an image object in the grid. Only you know your needs...
