Cannot delete or change a caption for photo in sitemap

I added a caption in sitemap for an image, but it cannot be changed later. Now I cannot add a caption to any other image on the page. If I copy the image and paste it on the page, it keeps the old caption even if I change the picture. Thanks

I had a similar issue. To solve my problem, I went into the Image Object and in the Display section, I had to uncheck "Protect against image copy". The Sitemap tab became available to change the title and caption. After making the changes, I turned back on the "Protect against image copy" and the Sitemap option greyed back out but my changes were successful.
Now I know to turn off the security when I need to address the sitemap problem then turn it back on when finished.
