George, if WX5 V9 Compact supports "Export the Project" as an iwzip the process will be fairly straight forward. To take advantage of responsive design you will need a minimum of WX5 Evolution 13.

However, much has changed (eg Flash is no longer supported so slide shows and galleries may need to be recreated).

Whenever I have had this task (too many times) I have always got better results copying and pasting the content of the existing website into a brand new template in the latest version.

You could see how simple and effective this is by downloading the trial and doing just a couple of pages. Be warned that if you intend to purchase EVO, you must download the EVO trial (if you download the PRO trial, anything you do cannot be opened in Evolution).

Please give me the link with the evo trial. If I test it, is that live? I mean does that influence the site in live? Can I test it with internet connection out?

The problem with flash, I have already that. Wil I have problem with simply pictures?

Nothing you do on your PC will affect your current website unless you upload to the web (which would be difficult because I do not believe that feature is enabled in the demo). As with Version 9, you can develop your project and do local previews.

You will have no problems with simple pictures, and the structure of the html5 slideshows and galleries is exactly as for the flash slideshows in V9, I just don't know if they will import.

The pages of my project create links with specfic url. My visitors find them through searching engines like google. If I transfer them to the new 13. will these urls be changed? I want these links of the PAGES to remain the same so my visitors can find me without problems
