After update the program informs me that the program must be reinstalled

When I started the program X5 Professional latest version, the program asked me to udate this program. Thereafther the program refused to start. There appeared a message box to sent to you an email with the why-compaint. The information file stated that the program has already a version installed.
What happened? I do not understand?

Problem solved. I did have to remove the icon (old) on my desktop page. So I removed an added another icon to my desktop.
