Since the 3rd of January, Yahoo changed the code for the integration to its Weather service, which WebSite makes use of.
We're currently aware of the issue and have proceeded to reporting it to the developers, so that the Object can get updated as well
Please refrain from opening too many topics on the same matter, since it might cause information to be spread irregularly and thus making it more difficult to notify you when the issue has been resolved
Why are you so slow??? In my company if we were so slow to fix the bugs we pay the panalty to users. We have an obligation to fix the problems in mater of 24 h...
What's new: - The Object has been renamed from Weather into OpenWeatherMap. - The Object does not use the YahooWeather service anymore, but OpenWeatherMap instead. - A decimal place has been added to the current day temperature, which makes it more precise.
You need to upate the weather object so that it looks like the one shown in the photo with the arrow. Drag the weather object to your page, you should see a heading to apply for an API (can't now show you this as I have obtained an API), however you can sign up for an API at:
Weather is not correct !!! Does you plan to contact your weather provider to fix the locations working? In my case there are 10C diference from all of weather provider (google, foreca...) DO you plan to fix this or we need search the other solution???
Cant seem to edit my last post, but you will have to find the willyweather for your country/location, and it looks like i can only find us, uk and au so far.
Unfortunately I am unable to perform any kind of refund on the Weather widget since it was and currently is a free PluginApp which is available to all users.
Since most services are moving towards an API key based type of service, as the Yahoo service is no longer available, it is now necessary to create an API key per each website you wish to publish. There is unfortunately no way around this, since the service the object currently makes use of requires this to work properly.
Please refer to your other topic as far as the issue about temperature is concerned instead.
Let me know if I can provide further information on this
We've been keeping an eye on the situation and we've noticed a noticeable improvement overtime of the various detection.
Are you able to provide any screenshot right now that shows a sensible difference between services in order for me to be able to better analyze the issue?
Right now I've performed further tests for some locations, but was unable to find any big discrepancy.
I've attempted to check some of the places you mentioned, but by taking under exam Google's weather and the OpenWeather one, I'm unable to determine huge differences between the two:
It is of course possible that these are different by a small amount, but this is surely due to the sources where these services get their data from, and it is of course out of our reach to be able to handle those personally.
Did you notice a bigger discrepancy with some other service perhaps?
+1
What is wrong with the Weather widget? Just curious to know.

Hello all,
New update at this moment:
v.10
23/01/2019
- The Object has been renamed from Weather into OpenWeatherMap.
- The Object does not use the YahooWeather service anymore, but OpenWeatherMap instead.
- A decimal place has been added to the current day temperature, which makes it more precise.
Enjoy,
J.P.
Hello,
the Objecttemplate shows the following message:
"Sie sollen einen gültigen API Key angeben, um dieses Objekt zu verwenden"
what must I do?
Thanks,
Rolf
Hi Rolf,
You need to upate the weather object so that it looks like the one shown in the photo with the arrow. Drag the weather object to your page, you should see a heading to apply for an API (can't now show you this as I have obtained an API), however you can sign up for an API at:
https://openweathermap.org/
They will email you the API, once you have it enter it in the API box, see attached photo and take it from there.

As a fix for the timebeing i am using the willyweather widget and paste the code into the html object, no api required:
https://www.willyweather.com.au/widget/create.html?sid=5c4da018cab77
Cant seem to edit my last post, but you will have to find the willyweather for your country/location, and it looks like i can only find us, uk and au so far.
