Major issues since installing 2019.2.8,
The software is soo slow, it is impossible to get any updates done to my sites..
Even when I click on Technical Support, I receive this non working link......
Before I was able to open 2 of my sites, and copy data between the 2 sites to save time, not possible now.
I need to work on one site at a time, and save every minute.
I am using Window 10 Pro, build 18362.145
I am running an i3 CPU, 8GB Ram, with 2x 480GD SSD drives.
All other applications are running fine, and there is no sluggishness, only Web X5.
Any suggestions
Regards,

See screen shot, of resources, I have now been waiting 10minutes to see a preview of my site, and still it is nmot ready
Hello Gerrit,
The main cause of sluggishness when working with WebSite X5 is usually antivirus/firewall/security software interfering with the program.
Try temporarily disabling these, and if this helps then add a permanent exception for WebSite X5 to the whitelist.
The fact that you have updated to 2019.2.8 will almost certainly be coincidental.
Make sure that you do not have any pages with empty cells in them, as this can also cause problems. If there are any empty cells then fill them with Objects... any Object, it doesn't matter which... it's fine to keep the Objects themselves blank/empty.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul, I have tried that, disabled avast, and Malwarebytes, makes no difference. And it has always been on the PC, only after the update did the sluggishness start, and it is actually getting worse, I can do nothing in X5 at the moment, but everything else is working fine !!!
Have you checked for empty cells as above?
Also, you may need to disable Avast completely, then reboot in Safe Mode to test properly. Avast is notorious for causing issues with WebSite X5.

Should the project files not be optimised at some stage as these 2 site are fairly large, 1.5gb and 1gb respectively
In my personal opinion the size of the project will not be the reason, but I will ask Incomedia to comment.
Hello Gerrit
This seems very weird and could be related to the project specifically.
If I understand correctly, this issue is currently only happening on a single specific project. What if you try to create a new one. Do you get the exact same result?
Please proceed with testing this first to understand whether the issue could be project-related or not
Thank you
Stefano
I somehow had this after a large-scale computer cleaning (apparently, I deleted something important that was necessary for the program to work). When rolled back to the previous save point, the program began to work quickly.
