Thank you for the Attachment, really useful! BUT I still have a question left:
Is there a possibility to run both Versions of Website X5 (V8 and V9) IN PARALLEL? That way it would be possible to create a test-site in the new version while still have the old productive version online.
Yes, you can install Evolution 9 and keep the Evolution 8 on your pc.
The two installations are separated.

But sorry, I want to be REAL SURE:
I do have the official Website X5 V8 Evolution CD with the Product Key. This version is installed on my PC. Now I want to buy the upgrade to V9. How do I make sure that I do not just upgrade V8 to V9 but have two installations (V8 and V9) after the upgrade?

I have both of them, V8 and V9, on my computer. Even if v9 is an "upgrade", it's a different software, installed in a different folder. It does not affect V8 at all. You may keep both version on your computer as long as you wish. Like you, I have the official V8 version with its own license and V9 and its own CD key.
