My license expired and on the same evening, I got error messages "Protocol not available" when attempting to update my sites.  My host did not change any on thier end.  Does X5 now render the software unusable if license is not maintained?

Hello.

"Does X5 now render the software unusable if license is not maintained?" - as far as I know, no.

  1. Check your hosting connection settings.
  2. Try reinstalling the program.
  3. Run the program as administrator.
  4. Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall and any other protection.
  5. Don't use a proxy or VPN.
