You're on the right track, but you should give us control over font sizes  en

I was happy to see that font adjustment feature was available (this is a good reason to pay for a another year of updates)

However, when I clicked the announcement link on my mobile device to read more, the irony was hard to miss. The very page announcing optimized, readable layout scaling was suffering from layout text clipping, see "Verdareramente" and "Automáticamente".

Turning responsive text adjustment into an automated process is definitely a step in the right direction to save development time, but the right path here is for you to give us the users a way to use per break point font sizes + interlining granular control.

Automated optimization is a great fallback feature for a quick setup, but please give advanced users a way to customize these parameters manually per breakpoint so we can fix scaling errors when the automation falls short.

Also please allow the easy use of font variants :)

I know we can use css code to fix most of this, but it would be great if you can consider these features.

Thanks, and looking forward to your comments!

If so, you would have to use a soft hyphen - - if possible, see screenshots below

With the new function, the font is reduced to such an extent that the word is not separated.

Thanks but the point is that the devs should consider giving us more control over font sizes and variations.

There are instructions for the new function and the settings that users can currently adjust here, see

Text and margins. How do you automatically optimize readability and spacing in responsive web pages?

...

3. Customize the parameters

  • You can adjust how the optimization works based on your design needs to find the right balance between visual impact and usability. In particular, you can control:
    • Maximum reduction factor: defines how much texts and margins can be reduced at smaller resolutions. This value represents the theoretical maximum reduction limit, but it is not applied equally to all texts.
    • Minimum text size: expressed in points (pt), defines the size below which the text cannot be reduced. If a text is already smaller than this value, it will not be modified. For example, by setting a minimum size of 12 pt, any text at 10 pt will remain unchanged.

The minimum size set is used as a reference to calculate the proportional reduction of texts: larger fonts are reduced more significantly, approaching the maximum factor set, while smaller ones undergo a more limited reduction.

This behavior prevents all texts from being standardized to the same minimum size at lower resolutions. In this way, the visual hierarchy between headings and content is preserved, improving readability and page structure.

Are the two settings (Maximum reduction factor and Minimum text size) sufficient for the desired results?

Write down which additional settings are desired and perhaps show examples of where there are currently problems.
