Maybe there is a problem with the software of x5 and you webhosting. Try changing the use of e-mail script in your preference page ( the page you start up X5 in also known as page 0)

I don't understand the answer. What should it be changed to? What needs to be used at the webhosting site? Can adapt to what they are using? It is hoasted by GoDaddy. I can select a windows or linux server. I can call them and ask to add what I need to the server (they have lots of option).

I have searched and there is a faq for mail solutions, Did you check this / read this?
