I want to transfer my recently built website to a brand new computer. On my old computer I have used a number of pictures and audiofiles from different directories. I had hoped that their relative paths would be stored during Export and Import; however it seems that all files are simply collected together (after Import) in a single directory. Therefore, if I want to maintain my site on both computers, I probably run into version control issues with pathnames. Is there a solution to import the project on my new PC, while preserving the absolute path names to all original files? thanks in advance, Carlo

Hello Carlo,
The best solution is to export the project like you did and then import it on the new computer and when you want to modify it on the other computer you need to export it and import on the computer you want to work. This is the only solution to work on the most updated project.
If you want to keep the absolute pathname you need to copy the folder where the project is stored. You can find the path by opening the Preferences on the main screen of WebSite X5.
Keep in mind that the absoulte path has to be exactly the same otherwise it will not find the files and images.
Please feel free to write back if you need more information.
