Hello,

When I take a look in the wesbite x5 V10 folder that is installed on my computer, I open folder Templates and find all the files of the standard templates that come with the softwares installation.

I wonder how I can alter for examples dimensions of such a template:http://www.logologics.nl/Webshop/index.htmlI would like it to be broader.

Can I adjust the file of this corresponding template ( config xml file in each folder ) save the changes, will that alter the default settings for good, or will for example an update change it to default again?

Further more I thought I read about V10 that the photoshop file would be deliverd as well to make changes? How do i find the corresponding files for now in the editor a templates name is for example Store 34, but in the files they all got just long numbers not recognizable..

Hello Annie,

In Version 10 it is not necessary to modify these files to edit a preset template. You need to select it in the program and then click on duplicate. It will create a copy in the custom Templates and then you can edit it directly in the Template Editor, so you can change the settings like width and the images used.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Hello Claudio,

Oh wauw, I just tested it, thats great!Cool

Yet as I set the header to for example 1300 px that works, but the content, footer etc. does not change with it, as in the standaard custom design. Is it still necessary to change them in for example Photoshop or is there yet a trick I dont know off in the editor itself to do so?

Thx for your help!

Annie

Hello Annie,

You will need to change the alignment options and then probably also resize the images, since these has been cut to fit to the standard size. If you rightclick on the image name, you will be able to export it so you can then modify it in Photoshop to adapt it to the new size.

If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.
