Using Website X5 throught out different versions i am very happy with the websites i have created. However i would love to be able to keep up with the trends of website design, so how can i get my designs to have these effects?

Its a more complete landscape concept some seems to be done in Java, But my aim is that you can have a website that does not look as "blocky" i assume thats the word.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

If you want to have a background which covers all the visible area you can follow the steps described here:

It depends also what exact you want to create from the examples. If you create a temlate where you don't add the background for the content section and you don't keep the objects by using only one block but you exnted some over more blocks then you will be able to create all possible layouts.
